Nigerians Reaction to Cardi B's Best Rap Album Award
The popular female rapper Cardi B has become the first female rap artist to win the Grammy award for Best Rap Album category. The rapper's album Invasion of Privacy is the album that gave her the win. She won the award with likes of talented rappers like Pusha T, Travis Scott and late Mac Miller.
It was a glorious evening for the mother of one as she dressed in a beautiful white dress alongside her husband as she receives the award.
She thanked her daughter, Kulture, who was born in July, 2018 in her award acceptance speech.
I’m not just saying thank you because she’s my daughter. It’s because, you know, when I found out I was pregnant, my album was not complete, like three songs that I was for sure having. And then you know, you know how it was, we was like, we have to get this album done so I could still do videos while I’m still not showing. And it was very long nightsAfter Cardi B received the prestigious award, many Nigerians took to their Twitter page to celebrate the female rapper for working really hard to accomplish the goal.

Some other were very furious that Cardi B won the award before her contender, Nicki Minaj, who started her music career way back before Cardi B.
