Reus Receive Three Years Suspension from Professional Football

The La Liga 123 side has been handed a three-year suspension from professional football and a €250,000 fine by La Liga judge of social indiscipline.

Reus is in severe financial difficulties with reports claiming the club is yet to pay his players their weekly allowance.

The club was automatically removed from the second tier of the Spanish football and its present players are now free to sign with other clubs on a free transfer basis.

It was also concluded that Reus’s opponent on the schedule would be automatically given a 1-0 win and three points but the result from those that have already been played will remain the same. Then only three teams would be relegated from the La Liga B this season.

With a new American owner might stand up to the challenge to save the club from going out of business and probably the will they be given the chance to appeal the punishment.
