Emir of Lafia dies at 84
The Emir of Lafia, Alhaji Isa Mustapha Agwai is dead, he died at the age of 84 in an undisclosed hospital in Abuja the Federal capital.
The incident was confirmed by the Ajiyan-Lafia, Alhaji Sule Abubakar, on the evening of Thursday, 10th January in Lafia
The Emir recently celebrated his 44th anniversary on the throne as he was coronated on the 28th of May 1974. Until his death, he was also the chairman Nasarawa State traditional Council of Chiefs. He was survived by three wives and two children.
Many top politician including the presidential candidate of People’s Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki and many more has took to social media to offer their condolences to those he left behind.
